    Hi,
when Cookiebot is activated, if user does not accept marketing cookies, the drop-down (hamburger) menu does not work!
When the user does accept marketing cookies, it works.
    what could be the problem?

the website has to respect GDPR, so no manual setting is possible.

I’m using elementor free, Astra theme and WordPress 6.1.

For the header, I’m using Elementor Header & Footer Builder

Using another cookies plugin, the problem is not present.

Please let me know if there is a solution or if we have to unistall cookiebot.

    Thanks in advance!
    Kind regards

    Hi Gianfranco,

This actually sounds like correct cookie banner behaviour, as elements that set non-necessary cookies will be blocked until the user has consented. If your burger menu script contains these cookies, the script would have to be held back until proper consent is given. We do have some solutions for these type of issues and, in order to propose the best solution for your website and scripts, we would love to investigate this issue further. In order for us to do this, you can create a support ticket via our support form.

We aim to reply within 48 hours!
