I’m not too sure about the difference between the global “gcookie” (set in plugin options), and a unique “cookie” (set individually per [expand]).

    My assumptions:
    1. Use the global “gcookie” if you want the state of all colomat elements preserved.
    2. Use unique “cookie” if you only want some colomat elements to preserve state.
    3. Using both “gcookie” AND “cookie” serves NO PURPOSE and makes NO SENSE.

    How am I doing?

yes, I would say that just about nails it!
Except 3. Using both “gcookie” AND “cookie” might be used if you wanted a default cookie set, but you want to override one or two expand elements to have there own special cookie. But his really does not make much sense.

    Issue Resolved.
