Thought I should let you know that on some set-ups, PopupAlly sets off “ModSecurity: Access denied with code 406” for REQUEST_HEADERS:Cookie.

I knew it was PopupAlly because it was the last plugin installed and it had the site looping after posting from within wp-admin. After deleting the cookie it created, the site was back accessible.

The only way around it without changing Mod Security or removing the rule was to either deactivate the plugin or rename popupally-cookie-.

    Hi there,

Thank you for letting us know! This is a known issue with overly strict server security setup.

PopupAlly uses cookies to prevent the popups from appearing too frequently. Cookies are used by many web site and I don’t think it posts a security risk if enabled.

If you do not feel comfortable changing ModSecurity, I would recommend asking your host to do so.
