    Hi,
Cookie Scanner free version has stucked for quite a long period now.

Pressing abort, refreshes the page and initiates automatically again.

    No way to stop it.

    We’d appreciate your help.

    The site runs Wp 4.4.25

    Thanks

    Hi @siteworks,

Could you please try updating the WordPress to 4.5 or the latest preferably?

    Hi

Unfortunately our theme doesn’t support versions of wp beyond 4.4.25.

But We upgraded to 4.5.1 just for testing, but with no result.
    THe problem remains.

We’ re looking for a new theme in the near future, so we can make a major update, but for now we must keep this.

So.. what are the options with fixing this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @siteworks,

Under the GDPR Cookie Consent > Settings > Advanced tab and try clicking the Delete Cookieyes data button. Then deactivate and activate the plugin once. Try scanning after and let us know how it goes.

    Hi
    Unfortunately it didn’t work either.

Finally we deleted the CookieYes account and the scanner unstucked.

We then created another account, but it did the same after we initiated the scanner.

Lastly, we scanned the cookies from Cookieyes account and passed them manually to the plugin.

    Hi @siteworks,

We will check the plugin more thoroughly with WP 4.5. It could still be some unknown compatibility issues causing the troubles.
