Since the other thread remains unanswered, I made a new one. Please answer?

The cookie policy page still doesn’t work, never has since I installed complianz. Already asked for help a while ago…didn’t get fixed.

The menus listing all cookies are closed and stuck, cannot be opened. Could be a theme issue or something else. Please have a look.

    Thank you.

    Hi @yhsh,

Could you list all your plugins, and your theme so we can reproduce the issue?

This seems to be the only way to figure this out, as we can’t see what might be wrong.

    Hi Aert,

    sure thing!

    Plugins used: https://i.imgur.com/VpEXQwW.png

Theme is ‘Blocksy’. I also use a child theme to safe-guard all updates.

    Kinds regards.

    Same Problem here.
The Toggle/Accordeon for the Cookies does not open
Guess its because of WP Bakery Page Builder… because it does not work on all our websites that use WP Bakery.

I personally do not use wp bakery, but the issue is the same, yes. The menu toggles do not open…

Other than that I’m very happy with this plugin though. Does everything needed to be compliant, even for free. Really amazing.

As in our latest update the script has been changed, from default closed, to default openend, it is possible the issue is caused by your minification/caching tool.

Please deactivate the caching tool, and check if this resolves the issue. If so, clear all caches, and regenerate the minified files.

    Hi,

I just checked and cleared all cache anyway, but it changes nothing for me…

    Hi @yhsh, @mela030,

We have detected an issue whereby by unsynced and edited documents do not behave normally in the WP Bakery Builder. Is this the case for you as well? (edited documents that is).

    Hi,

I do not use WP Bakery Builder? This is a plugin, right? Never used it, so would not apply to me unfortunately.

    Hello @yhsh,
Can you temporarily disable all plugins with minification and caching functionality?

As the code is minified, it could be that the latest version of the Javascript is not applied. In order for us to check if the latest version is active, we would need minification & caching to be disabled.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi Jarno,

that would be exclusively PageSpeed Ninja and cloudflare. I’ve temporarily disabled caching on cloudflare and pagespeed ninja completely.

    Hi @yhsh, ?
Do you have any MU Plugins active, or any other JavaScript that might be responsible for the Cookie banner being deactivated on the Cookie Policy page?

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

What is an MU plugin please?
But, since I don’t know what it is, I doubt I am using it.

Also, the cookie banner appears fine on my end? Did you try to clear your cookies first? I just checked and when I visit the site I am always getting the banner until I choose an option…

    (@yhsh)

Oh, you mean on the policy page? …

Yes I deliberately disabled it on that page. I do not feel it is necessary since it appears when you visit the main page, and the main page is always visited first…

Unless it is required to be active on every page I’ll reactivate it. Just let me know.

Thank you for the effort guys.

    Hi @yhsh,

We made a change in the plugin, this will go live on Monday. Please update, and let us know if it changed anything.
