Cookie, page-reload and lost referrer: big problem

if Cookie Notice is used and the page is reloaded after accepting the cookie, important referrer data is lost. How can I prevent this?

It is not tracked where the visitor comes from: From Google? From a social network? There is no referrer data at all. Only if the user returns to the page via a social network at some point in the future will the referrer be tracked – because this user has accepted the cookie in the past.

Unfortunately this does not help. I read a post in your support forum from 2018 in which you announced that you will bring an AJAX solution where the website does NOT have to reload and therefore all referrer data can be transferred to Google Analytics after the cookie has been accepted.

Until today I don’t see this function anywhere. And unfortunately very, very, very few support requests are answered at all (the statistics say 3 out of 43 cases in the last 2 months – that’s really very little!).
