Cookie issue with v1.5

  • Hi,

    Since updating to 1.5.0 we have a problem whenever we switch user. On switching back from User-B to the Administrator we have reduced privileges, retaining some of User-B’s restricted access. Clearing the browser cache solves the problem, but is a bit annoying!

    Could you have a look into it please? We’re a WordPress multisite, if that helps at all…

    Sorry to hear that.

    This is most likely caused by a plugin on your site, or a browser extension, or a proxy cache, or something along those lines. There’s nothing in User Switching which can cause user data to be cached on the client side.

    Can you check to see if the same behaviour happens when you manually log out and into another user account normally?

    I recommend to try deactivating your other plugins one by one, starting with anything related to caching or users, to see if you can identify a culprit, and also try clearing all your browser cookies.
