Cookie has been rejected for invalid domain error

    I am receiving the following error from the Jetpack plugin in Firefox. When I deactivate the plugin the error goes away.

    Cookie “tk_tc” has been rejected for invalid domain.

    Everything is setup and configured properly.

    Hi @chargeup –

    Is this causing issues for your site? I believe that this has to do with the way Jetpack measures stats and how Firefox manages cookies. If I try in another browser (such as Chrome), the message doesn’t show in the console.

    It seems to only be showing in Firefox. Just curious why it is reporting back as invalid domain. Is there anyway to solve this? Not sure what issues (if any) it is causing.

    There isn’t a solution at present. We have an internal issue open for it, but it doesn’t seem to cause issues.

    If you can share your site URL here I can make sure that Jetpack is properly connected and working on your site.

    Did some more digging. I setup a blank WordPress install and installed Jetpack and WooCommerce. The issue occurs in Firefox only when WooCommerce is installed with Jetpack. Hope this helps and hopefully you can find a fix soon.
