Cookie expiration date does not work – age verify for every SESSION

    When setting the expiration time for remembering visitors, the site still asks for age verification when the browser has been shut down and restarted. Even though the second access is well within the limit of the time out.

    Perhaps it’s implemented to work like that, but I expected the site to remember my age for the time stated in the “Remember visitors” setting regardless of if the browser has been restarted or not.

    Or actually, I’m guessing what I’d really expected was for the system to remember me for as long as my session was open and then only ask for age verification again if the “Remember visitors” time has passed.

    You are correct in that it SHOULD keep your cookie active for the time you specify in the settings. Let me narrow a few things down:

    1. Are you checking the “Remember me” box when you fill in your age?
    2. Are you running any sort of caching plugin? I’ve heard a few reports of some conflicts with caching so I’d love some more details if you are.

    That’s just it.

    I’m using the “Confirm checkbox” option. It has only one check box (verifying that I’m “of age”).

    When using the option when I give my birth date, the “remember me” function seems to work.

    It seems the problem is with the “Confirm checkbox” option?

    Ah, I see. It sounds like I need to add a “Remember Me” checkbox to the confirm checkbox option.

    I’ll try and push out a release that adds this later today.

    I’ve just updated the plugin (ver. 0.2.3) by adding a “remember me” checkbox to the confirm checkbox option, which should resolve the issue. Let me know if that’s the case.
