Cookie creation

    Hi, I’m looking at using your plugin, but have identified two problems.

    1. Cookies are created all of the time and not only when users click the remember option.
    2. If cookies are blocked the age gate cannot be dismissed.

    Just to address your points:

    1. If remember me is not checked, the cookie will expire at the end of the session
    2. This is true, a message would be shown in this instance. It can kind of be circumvented by using the JavaScript version though every page would then be checked.

    A bit more info though. Over the many iterations of the plugin different storage methods have be used such as proper sessions, local storage an so on. None really worked as well as the cookie approach and as cookies is the Cores approach, it seemed the best approach for the platform.

    Is there a specific issue you have against cookie use?
