    Hi,

    The blocksy theme overwrites the checkbox for personal data consent in the comments area and does not make it visible.
    With the Blocksy Companion plugin you can activate the Cookies Consent extension that makes the checkbox visible and also allows you to customize the label. This extension, however, also activates the cookie banner that I would like to disable because I already use a cookie policy. I would like to customize only the checkbox in the comments area. How can I do it?

    You can hide the cookies notification with a bit of CSS. Should be fairly simple. Target the cookie-notification class and add a display: none; propriety to it. That should do it for you.

    Hi @cteduard ,

    I’m back on topic because I noticed that by installing a plugin for managing comments (e.g. Discuz or Comment Form Editor with TinyMCE) the extension doesn’t work and the checkbox with the label isn’t displayed.
    Note that the Blocksy theme also makes the native WordPress checkbox invisible.

    at this url I have prepared a comments area with the Comment Form Editor with TinyMCE plugin and Blocksy Companion extension disabled. The native WordPress checkbox should be visible, but it is not visible.
    At this url, instead, I have prepared a comments area with the Comment Form Editor with TinyMCE plugin and Blocksy Companion extension enabled, but even in this case the privacy checkbox is not visible.
    In both cases the checkbox in Settings->Discussion is set.

    I can confirm that this will be fixed with the next Blocksy release. Please do 2.0.67 once it reaches you and you’ll be good to go.
