Cookie consent

  • Hello everyone!

    Few weeks ago I installed cookie consent plugin to my wordpress website and I noticed that the speed of website dramatically decreased so I guess it will harm for the search results in google.

    Maybe you guys know what is the best way to add cookie consent notification to my website without harming the speed? I’m not a super techie so if you do have any simple guide please left it in the comments. Thank you!

  • Hi! Try running Google’s “pagespeed insights” tool on your site WITH the plugin active and WITHOUT and then compare results. That will help you understand if the plugin is the source of the issue. If not, you may want to repeat the test with other plugins active/inactive to isolate the issue. Then, you can consider finding an alternative plugin to accomplish your desired results.
