Cookie config pop up stalls page (scroll to the bottom)
-
Hi,
For a while I’ve been having a problem with my blog, and only now I’ve realised what the trigger is.
If I scroll to the very bottom of the page, the website stops responding. Sometimes I can scroll up again, but the links won’t work. After a while, a message saying the page is not responding appears (I’ve tried with Chrome, Edge and Firefox).
After inspecting a little more, I have realised that, in normal conditions, scrolling to the bottom triggers the appearance of a little pop up at the bottom-left side with a link to config cookie options.I am under the impression that the script or whatever it is that manages this pop up is causing the page to stop working.
I’ve tried disabling other plugins, deleting cache, deactivating and reactivating Site Kit to no avail. Is there anything else I can try, or could I, at least, disable this pop up in the hopes that the problem goes away? (Of course, if I permanently disable Site Kit, then the problem doesn’t happen.) Thank you.
