    Hi there,

    I do have set complianz using it’s wizard, very handy !

    Yet, I do have a couple of question :

    1) The cookie list, either in admin or in front-end thank’s to the shortcode, groups cookies per servie and aim, and I do have “functional” and “preferences”; however the cookie banner shows of with three categories “functional”, “statistics” and “marketing”.
    Why don’t I have the exact same categorie ? why do the banner has a marketing checkbox, while I do not have marketing cookies ? (I do have checked and re-checked the cookie description in the wizard, and there are non that are “marketing”

    2) I do use a slef hosted Matomo, without collecting IP. In the wizard, I have set that I do not want to ask conscent to record analytic cookies. Yet the banner has a “analitics” checkbox ? why ? it shouldn’t be there no ?
    It is not checked by default, and I know we should let poeple opt-in (rather thant forcing them to opt-out), but to my understanding, I could have it checked by default and stil be GDPR compliant ! no ?

    Could you please guide me with this couple of question and last step to configure cookies and GDPR ?

    Thank’s in advance

    Hi @jbonlinea,

    For 1) Did you answer the questions under Wizard – Consent – Services:

    Does your website use third-party services?
    Does your website contain embedded social media content, like buttons, timelines, videos or pixels?
    Does your website use cookies for advertising?

    All with no?

    For 2) This depends on your settings;

    Under Statistics – Configuration:

    Did you answer: Do you want to ask consent for statistics? with no as well?

    If you have a URL I can have a look at the configuration,
    regards Aert
