    Hi,

We are facing a number of issues with the cookie banner.

    1. The slider is not being enabled in the banner.
    2. Statistics and one other category are showing as “a:2:{s:4:”
    3. Centering the text in the banner is not working.
    4. If we increase the size of the banner, the text does not “flow” and breaks at some set point.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi @shihtzurescue,

Could you try navigating to Complianz > Cookie Banner , changing the fields that contain this strange text back to their default state, and saving its settings once?

Please also clear cache in SG Optimizer upon making the change. I’m curious to see whether this correctly saves the settings.

Just let us know if you have any updates about this.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

@jarnovos thank you for your reply!

Sorry, some of what I describe applies to the Cookie page. The toggles [showing as checkboxes <div class=”cmplz-banner-checkbox”> are not enabled and the text is weird. [<div class=”cmplz-category-title”>a:2:{s:4:</div>]

I don’t see where these fields are set in Complianz > Cookie Banner. I thought they were preset by default in previous versions. IIRC they are functional, marketing and statistics. The last two are appearing as weird characters in the cooking banner.

I re-cleared the cache with no change. Thank you for your assistance!

    Hi @shihtzurescue,

I just realized these categories are not editable in the US. We will change this. For now, please go to the wizard and change the US to EU under “Visitors”.

Save and proceed to the cookie banner settings, here you will find the categories. Change the settings, and revert back to US in the wizard.

This should do it. We will fix this soon,
    regards Aert

@aahulsebos thank you so much! I was able to relabel the categories. Will we be able to choose toggles/sliders instead of checkboxes on the cookie statement in the next update please?

    Hi @shihtzurescue,

Yes. We were to quick with deleting this for opt-out regions, so this setting will be available as well.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    regards Aert
