cookie banner reappearing in every page after having saved preferences

I just visited your site and I see that you have changed your banner to ‘Legacy categories’. Could you please change the banner to Accept all + categories again, so we can take a look?

Thank you for the fast response! The problem us exactly the same with the Legacy Categories. However, I have changed it back to Accept All + Categories.

Hi @konstantinak,

When saving preferences, the cookie complianz_consent_status is not set in the browser. It is set when using Accept All. As there are no errors in the browsers, the only way to debug this issue is to use script debuggin.

Are you familiar with debugging? Otherwise I will give quick instructions,

Hi i have the same issue on https://lynk.plus . All Plugins deactivated (except ACF Pro), Themes js deactivated, SCRIPT DEBUG true in wp-config.php. Complianz is still not saving the complianz_cookie_consent cookie. WP 5.5.1 and Complianz 4.7.1
Any ideas?

Could continue with the article under “Recreating the issue”, maybe we will see something in the debug log.

Did you notice this since the update, or did you recently install Complianz?

I can’t reproduce the issue locally, so it’s hard for me to tell what might go wrong,

We just realized it’s because there’s no marketing category.

For a quick fix, you can enable this in the wizard. Under Cookies -> Integrations, you can set Does your website use third-party services? to YES.

We will now see what’s going on, and let you know asap.

You can remove the old one, install the new one, settings will be saved.

Hello Aert, I have the same problem, after I updated to Wordpess 5.6. I have selected the marketing category though and I am under European law. stoffbaby.de. I don’t have debug experience.
