    Dear Complianz Support Team,

after updating WordPress and Complianz the cookie banner is no longer displayed on the start page. However, the configuration and display of the banner in the backend is possible without any problems.

Disabling all plugins did not bring any change. Cache plugins are currently all enabled on the site as well.

Can you give me a hint why the loading of the banner fails?

    Thank you and best regards.

    Hi @miho255,

It looks like the Cookie Banner HTML is not added to this page, and I suspect this could occur because the Cookie Policy document is added to the “main” page of the site.

And because the Cookie Banner is not inserted in case of the Cookie Policy document, this might prevent the banner from being added to the page.

Could you try removing the Cookie Policy document from the page, to see if that allows the banner to appear?

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi Jarno,

thank you very much for your quick reply and the good advice. As you suspected, it was due to the inclusion of the Cookie Policy Document on the main page.

After I removed the policy document from the modal popup on the main page, the cookie banner is loaded.

Is there any way to modify the check routine to allow the policy document to be used in a popup on the main page?

    Thanks and best regards
    Michael

    Hi @miho255,

I guess that that would work, using the Complianz Cookie Policy Shortcode

Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Leon
