cookie banner does not show up

Rest assured; the banner is already displayed correctly when I visit your site from my end (screenshot here).

The reason why this happens is because you have the option “Respect Do Not Track settings in browsers” enabled in the plugin, available under Wizard > General > Security & Consent.

Meaning that if the plugin detects a Do Not Track signal from the browser (which browsers such as Firefox have enabled by default), the plugin will automatically assume all your cookie preferences to be “denied”, and doesn’t display a banner as a result.

Disabling that option in Complianz, or disabling the “Send a Do Not Track” option in your browser, will resolve this behavior and cause the banner to appear.

Thank you for the very fast response!

However, it still does not work with me:

1. I disabled in comlianz the option?“Respect Do Not Track settings in browsers”, then I deleted all cookies in the browser, and checked again -> banner still does not show up
2. Then I disabled the do not track option in my browser (in addition to step 1), deleted all cookies again, and checked again -> banner still does not show up
3. In addition, I then enabled third party cookies in my browser and deleted cookies again -> still same result

What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Not entirely sure, as Do Not Track is now disabled in the plugin & the banner still appears fine here.

I would recommend checking from another browser/device, or an Incognito window, so you can verify whether it appears normally in those cases.

I can see the banner now with an incognito profile in Chrome, so you can close the case.

I still have no explanation for the other behavior, because I always tested the website with another profile than the one I was editing with in WordPress…

Anyway, thanks for your help!
