Converting Website from Hard coded site

  • Hi,

    I’m very new to hard coded sites and I was wondering if anyone would know how to convert a hard coded site built with HTML, PHP, Jquery and CSS into a WordPress site. The reason being that I want the owner of the site to have an admin menu and be able to adjust anything herself. The developer is offering me either FTP access or a complete zip file of the website. Can you guys let me know if this is possible? I’ve seen a few tools out there like this one: https://htmltowordpress.io/ and just want to make sure this is a possibility.

  • I have always done conversions from hardcoded websites manually. I have never tried this tool so I can’t offer any advice on this.
