• So I’ve got a pretty large site I believe, at profootballspot.com

I’m currently running that site through Invision Power Board. I use their Pages app as my content management system and have thousands of articles we’ve published over the past four years are in that database.

I’m wanting to make the swap to WordPress. Is there a way for me to convert over to wordpress without losing my user accounts and articles?

What would be the best way to go about this? Or, is there someone I could pay to make this migration happen?

Sorry about that, I posted this in two different places because I was afraid I had posted it to the wrong place the first time and didn’t know how to delete.

I wasn’t trying to solicit work – more just a general question of “Is this something someone can help with, or will I need to find someone and pay them?”

I am not familiar with “Invision Power Board” specifically but since it is a content management system that runs on a database it probably will have a way to export your site data.
Look thorough the menus of the admin interface and try to find an export selection and see what kind of file it produces. WordPress has solid importing means, the simplest being via an xml file the more complicated ones via plugins. One of these methods will probably save you a lot of time to move content.
As for the images and other resources: That may need to taken care of separately.
