Converting to static html problems

    My site is working great thanks to CommentPress. But now I have run into problems. My university wants to run a static html archival image (obviously without commenting) on its cloud. I have setup a local version on my desktop (Linux with LAMP stack) and it work well. But I have been unsuccessful converting it to a static html image using plugins such as Simply Static or WP Static HTML Output. It seems that the CommentPress plugin blocks the conversion. Any advice?
