Converting special chars to html entities

  • Hello there,
    I use markdown syntax to write articles. To keep compatibility, I would like to use the notation with 3 backticks and the language name.
    When I do so, the special chars are converted to html entities. I’m using version 3. This dosen’t happen when I use for example [ language] code [/ language], but I would like to stick to markdown.
    Is there a way to fix this?
