Converting separate blogs to 3.0-multisite

  • I’m wondering if anybody has written a tutorial/howto for converting multiple separate WP blogs to a single 3.0-multisite installation?

    The separate blogs are all running 3.0 in single mode, and I have about ten of them that I’d like to amalgamate for ease of administration (I understand the performance gains/changes in resource use aren’t much).

    I’ve looked at Doncha’s domain mapping plugin and some walk-throughs of starting brand new 3.0-multisite installations, I’m just needing the “import your existing 3.0-single blogs” part of the process.

  • In another post somewhere in here I did.

    Basically, export. Set up a new site. import. Move over all the plugins & themes, dropping duplicates.
