converting portfolio items to woocommerce product?

I have several portfolios of photos/scans already set up. I am now slowly starting to incorporate ecommerce using woocommerce. Is there any way to ‘convert’ my portfolio items into products recognized by woocommerce? Or, alternatively, is there a way to add ‘add to cart’ and pricing information to an individual portfolio item. I would like people to be able to buy the items directly from the portfolio pages. If that isn’t possible, then if I could convert the portfolio items to products that would be very helpful and a huge time saver! And, for the record, I am a complete newbie in this world…
