• Hi Everybody!

I converted an addon to my primary domain and removed the primary domain. The addon’s directory was in the WordPress directory, that is, public_html/myaddon.com/wordpress-4.0/wordpress/(folders and files of my addon). The addon’s home page is now my primary domain home page, but when I try to go to any page on the primary or secondary menu, I get the error message,
Error 404 The document you are looking for may have been removed or re-named.

Before I made the addon the primary domain, the CONTACT ME page, for example, had the permalink, mysite.com/wordpress-4.0/wordpress/contact-me.

I edited the permalinks by removing /wordpress-4.0/wordpress/ in the places in the database tables where they can be edited, which are the tables, wp_posts and wp_postmeta. I also made these changes using Dashboard, in Pages (Edit and Quick edit) and in Appearance>Menus. When you try to go to any page it takes you to the correct permalink but the error message tells you that there is no web page at that address.

    Any ideas?

    Walter
