• Hello There,

I am currently beginning the process of developing a website using WordPress as my CMS. I was looking for ideal search features from other sites, as I have a list of documents that I would like to categorize via an internal search engine of sorts. I found a search feature that I would like to replicate onto my future WordPress page.

    https://www.policearbitration.on.ca/content/english/search_arbitration_decisions/rights_disputes/rights_disputes.html

However, i have learned that the CMS of this site is different (Stellent), and that there is a script. There are ASP scripts that does the searching of an MS Access database for the Arbitration Decisions on the page of this site. Because they are ASP scripts, they can’t be used in WordPress.

The MS Access database is generated by a JSP script that extracts the data from the Stellent Database using a SQL stored procedure and generates the database. Unfortunately the scripts that we have can’t be used in WordPress.

I would really like to know if there are ways, regarding coding or plugin to replicate this type of search feature onto my page as best as possible, as I believe that the structure (not the subject matter) of this feature would do wonders in carry out my ideals for my new site.

Any and all feedback is most greatly appreciated.

    Thank You.
