    Hi @dellos,

    Thank you for your message.

Could you please run some tests for me that will help me diagnose the problem better? Unfortunately, I don’t have that plugin and it’s hard for me to reproduce the problem. These tests are safe for your website, so you don’t have to worry about anything.

    1. Make sure you are using the default settings of our plugin. If you are not sure, uninstall our plugin and reinstall it. This is very important.
    2. Is the problem still there after the previous step? If so, please proceed to the next step.
    3. Delete the /wp-content/uploads-webpc/ directory and clear your browser cache.
    4. Is the problem still there after the previous step? If so, please proceed to the next step.
    5. Activate the “Disable rewrite inheritance in .htaccess files” option in the Advanced Settings tab.
    6. Is the problem still there after the previous step? If so, deactivate the “Disable rewrite inheritance in .htaccess files” option and please proceed to the next step.
    7. Delete the contents of the /wp-content/uploads-webpc/ directory, where the files converted to WebP and AVIF format are.
    8. Is the problem still there after the previous step? If so, please proceed to the next step.
    9. Make sure that the .htaccess file in the /wp-content/ directory only has rules for our plugin. If there are other rules, please stop testing and let me know what is there.
    10. Delete the .htaccess file from the /wp-content/ directory (after deleting the directory, do not go to our plugin settings, because then this .htaccess file will be regenerated).
    11. Is the problem still there after the previous step? If so, please proceed to the next step.
    12. Delete the .htaccess file from the /wp-content/ and /wp-content/uploads/ directories (after deleting the directory, do not go to our plugin settings, because then this .htaccess file will be regenerated).
    13. Is the problem still there after the previous step?

I would appreciate an answer to each of the above questions, unless the problem is solved after one of the steps. This will help us find out what the real source of the problem is and I will tell you if I can help you.

    Best,
    Mateusz
