    Hello,

Recently I’ve noticed on a website that some images aren’t displaying, but only some out of the 17k~. After checking the FTP to see if they are actually existing it shows the default image as being .jpg.webp but is actually a webp. I also noticed that it said no images had been converted, so I started this process again but it did not seem to solve the problem, now I have lots of webp images in my default uploads folder (not ‘uploads-webpc’) that aren’t displaying across this news-like website. Is there anyway to get back the old images?

    Thanks in advance, Kieran.

    Hi @vfmxv,

    Thank you for your message.

My plugin is not saving images in the /uploads directory. WebP and AVIF images are saved in the /uploads-webpc directory. There is no way for the plugin to save WebP files in the /uploads directory.

You probably used some other image optimization plugin that generated these files – am I right?

    Best,
    Mateusz

@vfmxv What is the result of the check?
