    Hi,

I have a 21kb image and after conversion, I found the result is 65kb !!
I think there should be an option to stop conversion in case the result is bigger (Just if statement after conversion process).

    Regards,

    Hi @macnux,

Thank you for your message. Your idea is great – I have released an update that automatically deletes files if they are larger than the original.

Please download version 1.0.6 and tell me, does everything work as you would like? Use the Regenerate All option to convert all images.

    Hi @mateuszgbiorczyk

I’m using 1.0.6 version now, but there another issue.
Not all images are converted. I have 4500+ images, only 2500 images converted.
Does this mean the plugin checks for size and if it’s bigger, it uses the original?

The plugin converts images. If the new image is larger than the original, plugin deletes it. And then the browser loads the original instead of the .webp file.

    Great!
Thanks a lot for the follow-up.

@macnux, I’m glad I could help. Could I ask you to add reviews to the plugin? I will be very grateful! It helps in its development.
