Convert plain emails doesn't work when not logged in

  • Since we have upgraded to WP 4.5 the protection of mailto links and plain emails doesn’t work only in the following situation:

    – plain emails in a buddypress member list view are not converted/protected and the visitor ist NOT logged in
    – mailto links on a buddypress member detail view

    BUT the protection works fine, if:
    – the user is logged in
    – or the mailto link or plain email is placed in other areas (normal content, header, footer.

    That means, the protection works or works not for emails on the same position depending on login status. What can be the reason for?

    That’s very odd. I don’t have a clue what it could be.

    Same problem here. Tried wp mailto and email encoder bundle, same problem. I use it on other sites but with other themes and it works perfectly.
