Convert mm to feet and inches

This is mathematics. If the fieldname1 field contains the value in millimeters, you can insert another calculated field with the equation:

var feet = FLOOR(fieldname1/304.8), inches = FLOOR((fieldname1%304.8)/25.4);
return CONCATENATE(feet,' feet and ',inches, ' inches')
})()

Yes, of course. The plugin includes different alternatives to distribute the fields in columns:

You can use the container fields (Div or Fieldset):

Or assign the predefined class names to the fields:
