I had no idea they switched blog.dir in the latest wp? what is it now?

try flushing/rewriting the rewrite rules? try regenerating the network specific .htaccess? re-saving the network options page? in the network options page try changing the field for storing upload directory?

besides that, quickest way I would think would be .htaccess rewrite something that would handle: “if url looks like this .../all-files/123/... it actually means .../blogs.dir/files/123/...

I’m guessing here, but something like

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?/wp-content/all-files/(.+) wp-content/blogs.dir/all-files/$2 [L]

It’s more complicated than that I’m afraid. Before looking at options can you explain why you want to do this?

It’s not necessary and if you make a mistake (as I did) then you could be lining yourself up for a lot of work.

    You can: https://halfelf.org/2012/dumping-ms-files/

But as Jan said, it’s a pain.
