Conversions showing several times.

    We are using the plugin “Enhanced Ecommerce Google Analytics Plugin for WooCommerce”, and after installing the plugin, Google Analytics are showing much more sale than there has been on the webshop.

    But today we found out that some products/sale are showing more than once.

    An example was that the same customer bought 2 jackets where the name of the product is is showing on Google Analytics together with price of 2 jackets.

    At the same time the jackets are shopwing again in Google Analytics 2 times more, were it is showing more details of the product, like size and color – but that also doubles up wrongly the amount of jackets to be sold as 4.

    Is there a way/setting we can change to solve the problem?

    Could you please share your store url so that I can have a look?

    Also share the product urls on which the mentioned issue has been occurred.

    Also, please check in GA if this issue is with iOS+Safari+Mobile?

    The problem seems to be on all products I think, but here are is an example from yesterday, where the conversion counted both 1 unit of this, and at the same time showing 1 more unit where the cutomer has chosen the color black from this product:

    So Analytics is showing 2 sales, but only 1 piece was bought.

    Where or how do I see if the issue is with iOS+Safari+Mobile?

    Hey Claus,

    There are multiple GA scripts (2 gtag.js + 1 analytics.js) being called at every page on your store and hence, the duplication.

    Our plugin uses gtag.js. Please remove the other scripts which you have added manually or by using any other plugins and the problem will be solved.

    Update us with the findings here.
