Conversions API wrong events

After setting up the plugin for the Conversions APi the events got crazy. We set up conversion ads for leads but the pixel is firing for every event in page like a lead. Also the manage page or the disconnect page reached a dead end and the only way to disconnect is to uninstall the plugin.
