• Hi,

I’m building a site for an engineering firm and can’t figure out how to input these conversions into the website. I was able to copy the code of a few basic conversions from their old site and make some minor edits to get them on their new site but they’d like more difficult calculation tools on their website. Is there a way to edit fields to input the calculations or maybe there is a plugin of the sort? The simple conversions I was able to make work can be found at https://leantrak.com/Wordpress9/tools-2/ .

    Thanks much for the help!

More than likely there are APIs for doing simple or complex conversions, but it’s unlikely that you will find a copy-and-paste example for WordPress. How familiar are you with JavaScript?

Alright I can do some research on an API that may be able to do what I’m looking for, however, I am not overly familiar with javascript. I can do the very basic functions. I’m not sure if an API of what I’m looking for would exist. One equation involves 1 unknown variable and 2 dropdown menus of 2 variables, then that converts to the number the customer would be looking for. Others involve specific gravity, voltage equations and volume equations.
