    Hello,

We are using the Facebook for Woocommerce plugin for our website, but we are experiencing two distinct problems.

    CONVERSION VALUE

We have an anomaly on the conversion values that come back on the Facebook platform, we have very high figures, which makes ROAS inconsistent. I’ve identified the problem, but I don’t know how to solve it.
In fact, the root of the problem lies in the fact that the plugin or facebook, I don’t know, mixes up the “.” and the “,” of my purchases. Note that on the FB platform, we are in $, but on the site, we sell in €. I wonder if it’s not a problem between EN and FR reading, where the “.” and “,” don’t have the same meaning. How can I solve the problem? Otherwise we’ll have to change tools.

    CATALOG

I can’t run catalog campaigns to remarket my add to card and viewcontents. Obviously, the products aren’t mapped properly. In fact, when I do remarketing campaigns, my audiences are very low in volume.
I’ve noticed that on our product pages, there are no content IDs. Problem. How can I make an audit of my catalog and make sure that everything is good, because to date it’s not operational.
Indeed, if I look at the catalog’s match rate, it’s pretty mediocre. How can I be sure that everything’s perfect?

    Thank you,

    Have a nice day

  • Hello maeldange

    Thank you for contacting us.

    CONVERSION VALUE
For better understanding, could you please share more details about why do you think the plugin mixes up the “.” and the “,” of the purchases? Any real examples and screenshots will be helpful.
If you have any other data related to ROAS, please share that with me so I can review it.

    CATALOG
Could you share more details and a screenshot of your product catalog?
I want to review it and see why the products are not mapped properly.
Are you seeing any warnings or errors in the settings?

Lastly, I’d like to review your site’s System Status Report.
You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com
After that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.

    Have a great day!

    Best regards.

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your help.
My answers below, I remain available for further information:

    CONVERSION VALUE

    I’ll give you more context.?
Indeed, I suspect it comes from “.” and “,” but I’m not sure.
Maybe CAPI or something else is doing something wrong.?

If we look at this adset, 1 purchase (“achat”) for $125K of conversion value (“valeur de conversion des achats”): https://ibb.co/C1B0kG3.?

Except that the average basket on my site is less than €500, and no product is that expensive, so it’s inconsistent.?
Looking at this amount, I even question the “.” and “,” because I don’t understand how you can get this amount.?
    Finally, I’m a bit lost.?

When I go to my event manager and look at the acidity samples for the Purchase event.
I see some strange figures and not always the same content_ids or URLs
    CF screen :
    https://ibb.co/cJkqDGy
    https://ibb.co/W2gK20C?
    https://ibb.co/tbgDvYc
By the way, we’re talking about “checkout” content_ids, but shouldn’t we be on “purchase”?

I’ve got two similar events in a row with a value of 9,603, which is astonishing:
    https://ibb.co/0DV3SpJ
    https://ibb.co/swWt2wY

In concrete terms, the values are abnormally high.

I’ve also looked at the initiated payments or Add to Card, and I’ve also observed some strange values: https://ibb.co/867dSK1?

    CATALOG

When I go to the sales manager and consult the catalog.
Visibly, there are two pieces of information:

    • 35.7%: Item interactions on your websites that match the items in this catalog.
    • They receive content IDs that don’t correspond to any catalog associated with your pixel.
      Screen: https://ibb.co/ByhsGkS

Also, when I go to the site and look at any product: https://ibb.co/xs2VzH8
I can see that for content_ids, we’re on “Product”, but there should be a distinct reference for all products, shouldn’t there?

You can find the System Status Report here: https://github.com/users/Lamael94/projects/1/views/1?pane=issue&itemId=61997167

    Have a great day!

    Best regards.

    Hello maeldange

Thank you for sharing more details.

    CONVERSION VALUE

The discrepancies you’ve highlighted are indeed concerning, particularly the inconsistency between the reported conversion values on the Facebook platform and the actual purchase prices on your site.

Given the complexity of the issue and the potential involvement of various factors such as currency interpretation and technical functionalities like CAPI, I believe it would be beneficial to seek assistance from the Meta Business Help Center. Their expertise in Facebook advertising and platform functionalities could provide valuable insights into what might be causing these anomalies.

Once we have the response from Meta, I can use that information to diagnose the issue.

    CATALOG

To get a clearer picture, could you please edit one of your products and share screenshots of the edit page?

Typically, the SKU assigned to each product serves as the Content ID, so ensuring that this information is properly configured could potentially resolve the catalog problem you’re experiencing. Once I’ve reviewed the product setup, we can work on fixing the content_id issue to address the catalog problem more effectively.

Looking forward to your reply. ??

    Best regards.

Very well, I can contact support in this case and share the answers with you.
Would you advise me to use chat or specific support? We’re using a WordPress plugin here, so I’m afraid I’m not speaking to the right person.

    Have a nice day!

    ?? hey @maeldange

On the CONVERSION VALUE issue, feel free to reach out to Meta via the support channel(s) available to you.

Moving on, with the CATALOG issue, there are a few things to note:

    • The Facebook plugin, per the site’s System Status Report (SSR) is at version 3.1.11. Kindly update to the latest available, version 3.2.1 at the moment of writing this.
    • The version of WooCommerce that is currently active is 8.6.1, again per the site’s System Status Report (SSR). The latest release is WooCommerce version 8.8.3, at the moment of writing this.

Before we are able to proceed any further, kindly make sure the above-mentioned plugins are updated to their latest version, respectfully, along with any other software that needs updating.

Subsequently, it would be best to act on the messages appearing up-top on product pages, as showcased in the screenshot linked here.

If the issue persists, I’d recommend proceeding with a?conflict test, as detailed here.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    We’re happy to help.
