Conversion of site to WordPress

    I am just looking at converting a site to WordPress. The site is
    https://encounterwalkingholidays.com/

    Each of the top tabs, have a drop down menu. Each menu item has a series of tabs listing the walks. I originally was going to import as posts but now feel it would be better to import as pages and then group them under their sub pages.

    What do folks think please? Also the site owner wants the site to mimic the current one for the time being.

    Is it possible to create the tabs like this please?

    First, select a well-coded theme(free or paid) with a good structure/layout.

    After you set up a child theme you can make some CSS customizations to create similar look in the menu area to have “tabbed” look with dropdown sub-menus.
