Conversion API and liteSpeed cache problem and solution

    We have a caching issue with the Litespeed cache plugin and the FB Conversion API (i.e. server side events).

    We have implemented the FB pixel via the WP-plugin Pixel Caffeine, both as a browser pixel and as a server side event (conversion API).

    The issue we experience is described in this short video:

    The author of the plugin PixelYourSite found a way to solve this issue for caching plugins like Litespeed by using Ajax.

    We found that this solution works for our website.

    Hi,

    thanks for sharing this. I’ll try to integrate a similar solution into Pixel Caffeine too because I fear there are many users as you that have problems when using caching plugins.

    I hope that developer of the cache plugins will help all users to find a solution with their plugin, but I’ll do my best to integrate a solution from the Pixel Caffeine side.

    It’s not easy and it’s not immediate, but I’ll do the possible.

    Hello, i have the same problem too, i use siteground and SG optimizer.

    In incognito browser i try and never change the event id like the video…

    For now while you invistigate, can you disable the event id if Conversion API is disabled? Like the old version. Pixel your site too not send event id if conversion is disabled.

    If i use only browser event id it is used by facebook or no? It is a problem i use the plug in without api conversion for now, even if have cache problem?

    Hey,

    we are adding a new option to enable the server-side tracking through AJAX request, in order to fix all issues with caching plugins or server cache.

    The new version will be released within next 24/48 hours ??

    AJAX request is not working properly. Same event id is used for every ajax for same page.

    PS: I’m using wp rocket
