• Need help with understanding specifics of settings.

Conversion Cook Duration says: When a user do a conversion like for example a click or form submission, how many days/hours should it stay hidden?

Closing Cookie Duration says: After closing the popup, how many days/hours should it stay hidden?

What is the difference between these two?
Does a click mean even if the “x” is used?
Please clarify what these actually do.

I have watched the video and it doesn’t clarify either. Any help much appreciated.

    Hi.

A convertion is when a goal is completed:

example1: I need to catch new potentials customers , then I put a form in a popup and when the form is filled and submitted, it completed a goal.

example2: I need to notice to my customers that there a new section in my blog, then I put a link in my popup says “visit the new section”. If the customer click this link then it completed a goal.

On the other hand if the customer doesnt fill the form or doesnt click in the link, but he close the popup, then there is not convertion but yes the popup closing event.

    Regards
