I purchased Fluent Forms specifically to create Google Ads campaigns utilizing your conversational forms functionality. However, I’ve encountered a significant limitation: the forms lack integration with Google Tag Manager, which is essential for Google Ads tracking. For a form solution focused on conversions, the absence of GTM integration and its ecosystem is unacceptable and severely limits the product’s value. The marketing materials for conversational forms should clearly highlight these technical limitations to prevent misleading customers like myself.

I request either a timely fix for the GTM integration or consideration for a refund.

Additionally, I strongly suggest updating the landing page documentation to be more transparent about these limitations, preventing further community frustration. You show GTM and Conversational Forms in your feature table but do not clarify that they do not work together.

    Hello there,

The issue you’re experiencing occurs because Conversational Forms function as standalone landing pages, which means they do not include the standard header or footer of your website. Since the Google Tag Manager (GTM) code is typically placed in the website’s header, it won’t be executed on the Conversational Form pages.

As a result, GTM cannot track activity on these forms, and this is why you’re seeing the error message indicating that the GTM tag is not found. This is the default behavior. I hope this clarifies the situation.

However, you can always embed the conversational forms into a page using shortcode and the GTM tag will work as the header and footer will be present in this case. Additionally, you can use the conversational form related hook to GTM script; You can find the related hook here.

    Thank you
