Hello, experienced experts! Please guide me from my confusion. I made a Simple Contact Form in WPForms. The informing emails are set to be HTML style. How do I adjust the banner above the email text? For example, if I want to change the image size, change the image or turn off the banner while still keeping it in HTML form, where should I operate them? This is how I see the emails in my siteground email inbox below:

Please help me out ASAP. Many thanks!

  • Hi @untier,

For the best support on all devices, the recommended image size is 300×100 pixels.

To add a header image to your email template, in the WordPress admin sidebar go to WPForms > Settings. Next, click on the Email tab and scroll to the Header Image section to upload an image. When you’re done, click on the Save Settings button to apply those changes.

Here is a guide on adding custom header images on WPForms Email Template.

Also, we don’t have an email template in quite the same sense as some other plugins, so to do what you describe requires a slightly different approach for our notifications.

We do allow HTML in the notification body, and if you’d like to make modifications to that you can do this right in the form builder under Settings > Notifications.

Here’s an example of how that might look like:

    – Message Setup: Reference screenshot
    – Email Received: Reference screenshot

If you’d like to, you can use some custom code to make further customizations to the email template styling and the email’s footer content. The only thing to note is that any changes you make to these will be applied to all notifications for WPForms on your site.

We have a detailed tutorial of how to use HTML in the notification settings, as well as how to change styles with a custom email header file here.

Then, the footer text can be changed with a slightly different code.

In case it helps, we have more details on adding custom code to your site here.

    I hope this helps!
