If I enable manager in front end it adds the “Move to folder” and “Edit” options for everyone. I want to only allow someone with a specific role/capability to be able to manage files in the front end. Could you add a shortcode attribute which would control whether or not the “Move to folder” and “Edit” options are displayed or add a filter to control whether front end editing is allowed?

I plan on releasing a User Manager extension by April. Right now it will be all or nothing if you opt to allow front-side management.

A work-around would be to use some CSS or Javascript in your theme to hide/remove the features you don’t want to show.

I can’t really use CSS or javascript to control access to this on the front end by role. For now, I just edited my copy of the plugin to check for the role before allowing managing the files on the front end.
