Controlable FrontPage!
-
Hello
Thougt about this, i’m sure it’s gonna be a new feature and the best feature ever in webblogs.
what i’m saying is:
you can see now that the frontpage is showing the latest posts, write?!
what if i want a specific post to showup on the frontpage?
many users will say, use the stick or adhesive thingy.
but it’s not gonna be good.
because a better way to do that is from the control panel…
I wish that any of you can develop a plugin to make the following:
Admin chooses how many posts to show on front page ….
then, the admin assignes each post of them with the post number!
the admin then can sort the posts on the frontpage the way he likes!
he just needes to get the number of the post, assign it to the post!— for example, here is the front page list:
blablabla2- Post2
blablabla3-Post3
blablablaok, now the admin can assign which post to position at number 3 by setting a value named (e.g postnumber)
I think everyone is getting bored of seeing the latest posts always and using the sticky and adhesive thingy..
Can we turn our blogs to a (MY YAHOO!) page?
we choose what to show and what to hide (posts)Please help!
i’m not a programmer at all!
but I wish someone can help!
thanx,
bye
