control excerpt content for featured boxes on front page

    I was wondering if there is any way to control what text is shown as excerpt content in the featured boxes on the front page of the website.

    As of now the box only seems to take the first bit of text of the page, with no notice of when an ingress ends or anything.

    I would like to controll the number of characters it takes or where it takes the text from.

    I Have SEO by yoast installed and I would like it to take the meta description from there to make sure my excerpts are nice looking and doesnt end in the middle of a sentence.

    You can customize the excerpts on Dashboard => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Excerpts Options => And Select the number of words you want to display
