Control content when sharing

    When sharing an EM event, all the information is included in the shared post. How can I control what is shared such as just the event name, date and location? It’s showing all the event content in one long run on sentence.

    just to confirm, can I know what do you mean by shared post? you can modify formatting under Events > Settings > Formatting > Events

    Hi Angelo,

    Thank you for your reply. I am trying to share event posts on Facebook. The description in the shared post is pulling all the content of the event including the Google map. It says ‘trying to load map. I can share the main calendar fine but the event posts are a mess.

    I’ve looked at the formatting you mention above but don’t really know what I should be doing here. Might you help?

    at the moment share with facebook feature is not yet available; are you using custom code or plugins to enable this feature?

    Yes, I’m using publicize.

    I see now however this is not yet available to EM by default; you might need additional coding to integrate EM and publicize.
