    Hi,

    thanks for your question!

That’s possible with a Premium TablePress Extension: https://tablepress.org/extensions/table-column-order/

With that, you could use a Shortcode like

    [table id=123 column_order="manual" column_order_manual_order="9,8" /]

However, why don’t you simply swap the column on the “Edit” screen via drag-and-drop?

    Hi,
Thanks again. what a great support!!
I don’t know if it is because there are lots of data, but it takes lot of time to drag a column (about 15 sec’ till something moves in the screen).
and the columns i want to swich are “AC” with “B” which are very far from each other ??

btw, here is the table – MadeinJLM.org/startup-companies

    Thanks anyway!

in addition… it’s easy to do it once, but my CSV files get updated often and i need to upload it manually each time and re-order.. that’s the motivation to find an automatic solution.
    Thnx

    Hi,

yeah, the drag-and-drop can be very slow in large tables unfortunately ??
And yes, the CSV auto-import makes this kind of useless ??
And I guess you can’t simply change the order in the application that generates the CSV file?
Well, then the Extension is what you need ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!

    hi,
yup. this is based on a google doc form and i can’t change the order there.
(btw, i’ve tried using the CSV direct link that google docs gives, but it’s not working as a URL source).

I haven’t seen the price of that premium extension.
How much it coast? Will you consider let us using it and we’ll give a credit in return? (we are all volunteers for promoting Start-ups at Jerusalem and this the purpose of the website). Totally understand if you prefer not to.

    sure I rated 5 ??

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

don’t worry, “Premium TablePress Extensions” don’t have a fixed price.
You can use them for free if you want, but it is encouraged to leave a donation to support future development and support.

And thanks for the rating, I really appreciate it!
