Continuous Spam Form Entries

    I cannot find any option to deter spam entries for this plugin. I’d like to continue to have the mail list sign-up on our page, but would love to have a first line of defence again this false contacts. Is anyone else using this having issues with spam? What mechanisms are people using to prevent this?

    It’s been darn close the past few days to the amount I was experiencing before. Any idea on an ETA? I might disable the plugin until then.

    @mishayla, would love some help testing this, actually, since you seem like you’d be willing to.

    The link above should download a copy of the plugin with the extra spam prevention layers mentioned earlier. It’ll be the only difference between what you have now, and this version. Once ready, this same change will be present in 1.3.0 so you won’t regress in that regards. Should be able to extract and upload into the plugins folder on the server, overwriting the current copy.

    Thanks for any willingness to help, and hopefully this takes care of a lot more.

    Installed and activated – it still references the version 1.2.5 in the plugin just an FYI. Will keep you posted.
