Continue button after selection redirects to previous page

    Hello,

    I noticed today an issue with the VikBooking plugin that wasn’t happening before. Last time I tested it was about 2 weeks ago and I hadn’t made any website changes to affect this plugin in anyway. What’s happening is when I go to my booking page, select 3 or more nights of stay, then click search – after it redirects me to the next screen, as soon as I select the rental property and try to click continue, it immediately redirects me to the previous page.

    I have the pro version of this plugin and I’m not sure why this is suddenly an issue. I tried clearing my browser cache, my server cache, website cache, restoring from previous backup and still this issue persists in all of my tests. Every time I test it, it fails. Can someone please assist me or fix this asap? I just realized no one can even book anything, which is the whole point of this plugin.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your message. We understand the situation, but the “Continue” button displayed in the booking process is actually a submit button of a form, it is not a link.

    This makes us believe that the cause of the issue is either an invalid configuration of the Shortcodes, hence no records assigned to a WordPress page/post ID, or a conflict with a third-party plugin that is somehow unsetting POST variables submitted through the form.

    Especially if this issue suddenly started to happen, the problem must be related to a recent change of your website, because it cannot be an issue with the latest update, or the rest of our clients would have informed us already.

    Since you are a Pro user, we kindly ask you to open a support ticket through our website so that our technicians can investigate more on the issue.
