Continually logged out – but only on Mac

  • I have read many many articles here and on the net about how to solve the problem of being logged out an a regular basis. My problem is that when I work on my website from a PC it does not occur, only ion my iMac.

    This would rule out plug-ins and the settings URL addresses (although I had already checked them). I constantly clear the cache on my Mac but the error can sometimes occur immediately afterwards.

    I am a little baffled as I have not seen this mentioned before. It must be something to do with the set up of the iMac. has anyone experienced this before?

  • Hi @theatrenow,

    What web browser are you using on your Mac? I would recommend you not use Safari, but use Firefox or Google Chrome because Safari sometimes does have problems with WordPress when editing post or working in the Admin.
