Continual use

  • I just installed this and it worked for uploading a few Tumblr posts. However, after doing so, it stated finished. I couldn’t figure out how to reload the next group that I had sent to Tumblr without “clearing the account” which then made me relist the application codes. Am I doing this wrong or is this PlugIn not meant for day to day updates?

    The plugin is an importer, not a synchronizer. It imports your data one time, and then it’s done. The purpose is to make it easier for you to move away from Tumblr on to a WordPress site.

    Importers don’t run continually. They do their import job and then they’re done. After you do an import, typically you would verify that all the content migrated, and then stop using or delete the original site.

    Thank you Sam – this tells me I wasn’t doing it wrong. So I am happy about that. However, I am not seeing a Tumblr sync plugin. Do you know of one?

    Nope, sorry. You might be able to do something like that using ifttt.com.
